Monitored Alarm System monitors customers homes 24/7/365 by connecting the system installed at customer's premise and monitoring stations. This system includes a central control panel, keypads, sensors and a siren. The panel is usually installed in the basement. Sensors are installed at monitored spots such as doors, windows and any open space. The keypad is usually installed at the main entrance. When alarm goes off, or when specific parameters change, the monitoring station will inform the customer and may at the same time call police, fire trucks and ambulances depending on alarm category and customer's emergency call sequence, so that the customer's life and property are protected to its best advantage.

There are wired systems and wireless systems. All sensors and keypads are connected to the control panel either through wires with wired system or wirelessly with the wireless system. Installation of wireless system is much easier since almost no wire running is needed. However, wireless panel and sensors are expensive. On the other hand, hardware of wired system is much cheaper although installation is harder and hence costly. and wired connection is more reliable. Therefore in consideration of both hardware and installation, the cost to have a wired system is almost the same as a wireless system. Normally, if the customer's house is already wired, or if not at least the basement is not renovated, we use wired system. Wired connection is more reliable. Wireless systems are used for homes not yet wired so that any damage to the property can be controlled to the minimum and installation is easy and fast.
The control panel serves as a connection center which links all monitored spots to the monitoring center through customer's phone line, or if they don't have a phone line, through GSM or internet, with extra cost. Whenever there is any change on those sensors, the signal will be transferred to the monitoring center. In this way, the monitoring center is able to monitor customer's premise 24/7/365.
 (A) Popular services:

Intrusion: When the system is armed, break-in will trigger the alarm.Fire: No matter the system is armed or not, smoke or fire will trigger the alarm.Special protections: If purchased by customer: Carbon monoxide, natural gas, flood, vibration, etc may also be monitored.Scheduled open and close: This is mainly used in businesses, where opening and closing of the door falls into a set schedule. The schedule can be monitored so that if the door is opened or closed abnormally, customer will be called and an alert will be sent out immediately to the manager or owner. Home use is also possible. For example, kids are supposed to come home from school around 3:00pm every week day. The front door can be programmed as such so that if there is no opening or closing event around that time, it might mean kids are not coming home. Our monitoring center will call and an alert will also be sent out by text or email. Parents can decide what to do after they receive the calls and alerts.Live opening or closing alert. A typical illustration for home use is the liquor cabinet or wine cooler. When the customer is not home, he will receive a live text message alert that the liquor cabinet is opened. So he knows that somebody is drinking at home. This application can also be used in stores, for example a jewelry store. Each time the safe is opened, an alert will be texted to the manager or owner and detailed report of all openings and closings of the safe can also be emailed daily. (B) Popular sensors
